I fixed my problem by removing wvwyrhitng that came with steam and installed the flatpak version, also fixed many problems that I had with the pacman version, didnt expect it, but you guys still need to update to wayland and move one from x11 dont be stuck in the past

I'm getting this exact issue with very similar errors. I launched via steam.sh, here's what it showed.

@kisak-valve I recently installed XWayland, and I can verify it's working by running xclock or other X apps, so I tried manually enabling XWayland in my sway config anyways, and that did nothing. Same errors.

I've found my issue. Frogging-Family/nvidia-all does not work with Steam. Instead, I had to use the regular nvidia-open-dkms drivers provided for Arch Linux.
