Boot movies play their audio twice, giving a weird echo effect (also noticeable on PC, not just Steam Deck)

Whether I boot up my Steam Deck or simply view from the customization menu, the boot animations often times have their audio play twice, giving a weird echo effect. This isn't just with the Steam Deck. I also notice this when I go to my PC and view said boot movies. What should happen is for the audio to play only once. It used to do that just fine in earlier versions of the OS. I don't know what's causing this.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. In the Steam OS (Steam Deck Game Mode or Big Picture Mode), navigate to the system settings.
  2. Go to customization.
  3. Preview boot movies.
  4. If you don't notice the sound issues right away (the boot sometimes plays the sound right), keep previewing until you hear the audio play twice.

I'd be grateful if you look into this.

Thank you for providing a wonderful service!
