If the volume is adjusted via the hardware volume buttons while the Steam Menu is open, the device name will be partially obfuscated.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Connect a Bluetooth Headphone or USB speaker to the Steam Deck
  2. Press Steam to open the Steam Menu.
  3. Press + or - volume keys.

Note: Keyboard hardware volume keys don't always trigger the Big Picture Mode Volume OSD on Desktop. You can however use the gamepad shortcuts for volume control using Steam / PS / Xbox / Home button with Up and Down on the Left Joystick to trigger it.
