Sub menus do not register left clicks within the app

Steps for reproducing this issue:

Open Steam
Right click any game from library list to open a sub menu
Attempt to left click any option within said sub menu

I use Arch with LXQt and had the same problem. Try left-clicking while CTRL is pressed. DuckDuckGo's AI suggested this and it worked. According to it, this makes buttons "responsive". I have no idea about why pressing CTRL changes the function.
