Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Steps for reproducing this issue:

In Windows 11, if a game is marked "Private", it is unlisted in Steam's tooltray menu. This is how it should operate.

In Linux, a game marked "Private" (& hidden) still appears in client's tooltray menu. It should operate like Windows 11, not like this.

  1. Launch Steam
  2. Mark any game "Private" - say CS2
  3. Left click Steam's tooltray icon, the "Private" game is still listed.
  4. Mark the same game as "Hidden" - say CS2
  5. Left click Steam's tooltray icon, the "Hidden" game is still listed.

This poses a problem for folks using a HTPC or other "Big Screen" PC as a family Steam console to compliment their Steam Deck, particularly for our early teens & kids.
