Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
My specific setup in Steam Input for games is by setting the "A" button with two commands.
Command 1: Enter Key
Command 2: (Button Chord) Left Mouse Click
This setup has worked fine for me, for years now..
The expected behavior is "A" is normally pressed w/out touch detection from either Left Pad/Stick it will use "Command 1" as the default input & when Left Stick/Pad is detected it will prioritize Command 2 as the primary input.
Currently the failure arises in that it should use command 2 when Left Stick or Pad are touched, but that command is ignored & it continues to use Command 1 as if the Button Chord was never set to a command.
To further elaborate, if I set it deselct both & set them in a singular manner it will detect Command 2, such as selecting..
"Left Stick Touch"
or
"Left Pad Touch"
It will Detect Command 2 properly, but not if..
"Left Stick or Left Pad Touch"
Are selected as part of the Button Chord.
For additional reference..
"Right Stick or Right Pad Touch"
Work fine Chorded to the exact same "A" button.
So the command is either being ignored or soemthing improper has occured.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Game Library Page - Not Game specific, happens in Steam & Non-Steam.
(I first noticed this in Jerez's Arena III(2875610). Using Community Layoyt: "Refined" | Jerez's Layout: V1.03 | [Steam Deck]", to see the exact functions.)
Go to Controller Settings
Set "A" as "Left Mouse Click"
Change: Left Mouse Click's Properties to "Button Chord"
Set Button Chord as: "Left Stick or Left Pad Touch"
Start Steam Game
In-Game: Use either "Left Stick or Left Pad Touch" + "A" to activate command
If the command does not act according you have sucessfully reproduced this issue.
