Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Steam is telling me that Red Dead Redemption 2 is only for Windows with Steamplay enabled

This only happens with this game in my library as Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto V both allow me to install it with no problems

Does toggling "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" on RDR2 help? Just toggle on and off immediately.

Hello @SirCatInaHat, [2025-07-04 17:02:14] Mapping AppID 1174180 to tool "GE-Proton9-20" with priority 250 in your compat_log.txt is relevant. This third party compatibility tool does not appear to be installed on your system, which makes it an invalid Steam Play config. Switch the game to compatibility tool that is on your system.

This is functionally the same scenario as #11502 / #9965. Closing in favor of the older issue report.
