If a game (TF2 in this instance) needs to write to disk while it's loading, and there's no space on the disk, the game just fails to launch without any feedback as to why. It would be nice to get a prompt saying it's failed due to not enough disk space, or something similar.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Install a game to a separate partition
  2. Fill partition with data until there's 0 space left
  3. Attempt to launch the game

Users with BTRFS partitions may also have temporary failures due to balance space requirements on a drive with low space.

This would be useful to have.
