Upon booting the Steam Deck, if the Quick-Access Menu was not opened prior to a game being launched its status bar will be partially or completely scrolled out of view. The issue will persist until its fixed by using the d-pad / joystick to highlight an element of the status bar or opening the Quick-Access Menu while in SteamOS and relaunching a title.
Desktop Deck-like session (gamescope -e -- steam -gamepadui -steamdeck): No
Desktop: No
Actual result
Status bar (Updates, Wifi, Messages, Battery Life, Time, Account, etc...) at the top of the Quick-Access Menu is partially or completely obfuscated by default upon launching into a game.
Expected result
Status bar within the Quick-Access Menu is always visible.
