Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

After I resume the Steam Deck OLED from suspend, I click the Steam button and some times there or sometimes in settings, I'm using the left thumbstick to walk in the menu and sometimes get stuck, going all way up or down automatically.
It happens right after I got internet connection. I know that because of the pop-up with offers and stuff.
So if the thumbstick was up, it keep going up for a second or so. If it was down, it keeps going down. If was not moving, it freezes.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Resume Steam Deck from suspend (I don't usually turn off, just keep sleeping)
  2. Click Steam button and start going up and down using the thumbstick.
  3. When it gets connection to Internet over wi-fi, the thumbstick should get stuck and the selected item will go up or go down depending of what direction you were before this freezing.

@kisak-valve I don't know for sure if this happens in the regular Steam on Linux. I just tested on SteamOS.

Do we have any updates about that? It's quite an annoying bug.

BTW, one thing I noticed, it's happening less because now mostly of the times it freezes, and you can't move the thumbstick. But still happens sometimes of the thumbstick not responding and going automatically up or down.

Nothing extracted yet.
