Steam Input: DualSense Full HD Haptics over bluetooth

A little context: the DualSense currently doesn’t have full HD haptic functionality over Bluetooth (wireless). Right now, all features only work when connected via USB. But a talented developer, sdoregor, recently made a breakthrough with his research that enables HD haptics over Bluetooth.

It’s called SAxense, and while it’s still in the proof-of-concept and experimental stages, it’s already showing a lot of promise:

Hopefully Valve can take inspiration from this work and, down the line, bring similar support into Steam Input to SteamOS/Linux and hopefully, Steam on Windows as well.

Thank you @lyndon025 for bringing my work up!

I'm here to point out that I am willing to provide any support needed to make this useful to the end users as soon as possible.

I've been looking into integrating this into Proton as well on my own, but decided it will make a much better fit system-wide, i.e. in the PipeWire + Bluez5 stack — and that's what I've been working on in-and-out since the initial POC release.

Looking forward to this as a DS5 user!
