Steam detects incorrect System Information details for RAM and Storage.
Only half of system RAM seems to be detected.
All storage devices seem to be counted under SSD regardless of their type.
This includes devices that shouldn't be counted at all, such as CD-ROM drives and USB drives.

It's May 2026 and Steam on Linux still reports this information incorrectly. I won't take up too much space here, but I also created a GIST which shows my actual disks, and RAM, versus what Steam's Linux client reports.
