Dear developers,
when we started gaming on Linux with steam 2 years ago, we have been pleasant surprised, that our old (but still in perfect condition) Microsoft Sidewinder Force-Feedback Wheels (connected via USB) where perfect supported by VALVE/Steam. They worked as perfect as when we purchased them in 1998. But now, after the change of the steam-client for LINUX on September 9th, the wheels have lost the force to centre the wheels while driving. We know that it is no defect of the wheels them self, because both of them got the same behaviour at the same time. Today we received a new version of the steam-client for LINUX ,released on October 3rd, but there was no improvement in driving.
Can you imagine the reason for the new behaviour of our steering wheels? And do you see a chance to get back the old performance?
Do you need more information about our hard- and software?

kind regards
James
