try running dhcpcd as root and just double-check if your network is fully initialized. Had the same issue and came across this issue, then did some digging and apparently you get an error -105 if that's the case lol it's odd. It's the same on the beta client

Ran full system update before hand
I've done a full removal of steam and all related files before reinstalling with pacman, to simulate installing for the first time
edit 1: other details I forgot to mention. I am able to ping steampowered.com just fine, my steam account still works on other devices, 1 running bazzite, I'm still able to download preowned titles just fine. this happens with both the pacman and flatpak versions. this also happens with both the normal "steam" and "steam-native" commands. error persists on x11, the logs above are right after uninstalling and removing every file related to steam, a full system upgrade, reinstalling, and then rebooting. hope this helps
