Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

If Steam is opened from an application manager/start menu (I use Wofi) instead of opening a terminal and typing steam
it won't open any windows. Steam itself is opened, but any windows open as a black screen for a split second, then close
(Using Sway window manager, Wofi application launcher and ly login/display manager)

I have no issue opening it in terminal, but it working from just opening normally would be nice
