So I recently installed Linux Ubuntu as a dual boot with windows (on separate NVMEs)
I've installed steam and it would show to start up screen you get before it loads the library but then it closes down, waits roughtly 10 seconds attempts to open again but immediatly closes (skipping the loading screen this time). It repeats this until i "pkill" it.
I tried fixing this myself and found that opening it from the terminal using "steam" works fine as well as copying the steam.desktop to my desktop, allowing it as an executable, allowing it to launch and running it like a shortcut. However, when I open it from the dock or from the windows key it causes the problem.
