Describe what you expected should happen and what did happen.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Open any game or application in Gaming mode
  2. Open the keyboard by pressing Steam + X
  3. Close the keyboard
  4. Press the power button once to enter sleep mode
  5. Open the keyboard again by pressing Steam + X
  6. It won't show the keyboard properly or only for a few seconds but unresponsive

@iam-best I assume there's a missing step between 4 and 5 that would be "press the power button again to wake the device".

I fail to reproduce the issue on an LCD Steam Deck running SteamOS 3.7.17 and the beta Steam client.
Does this happen with specific games only? Can you perhaps share a screencast of the issue?
