System info is attached. Crash just requires running steam. I am able to run unreal editor.

The .tar file you linked is empty and does not contain any logs. Please re-upload logs, or close this issue if the problem cannot be reproduced.

Lastly, a more detailed bug report which states:

Are there any steps to reproduce this issue (i.e. go to a certain menu, do a certain action etc?)
What troubleshooting actions have you taken? Have you attempted to uninstall/reinstall steam?
Approximately how often does this happen?

Officially, Valve states that the .deb from steampowered.com or the Flatpak are the only supported versions of Steam. What version of steam have you installed?

What you've described sounds like a mixture of hardware issues and/or issues with Ubuntu as an Operating System on your workstation. Your last statement seems to indicate that the problem follows the hardware and not a problem with the Steam client itself.

You've mentioned that you've abandoned Steam for Linux all together and have migrated to Windows. Are you still seeking support from the community with this issue? If not, perhaps the best course of action would be to close this issue.
