Steam has been working for ages so I'm not sure whats changed, I was briefly on mint 22 and the same thing happened, have tried un and reinstalling, and it's not a storage issues (400gb free)
I found things that seem to stop the unbound variable part but then i just get a popup with "Error: Couldn't set up the Steam Runtime. Are you running low on disk space?" instead :/
AH turns out there were 2 different folders inside .steam with steam.sh and stuff, and deleting debian-instalations seems to have let it run, remake the folder and sort itself out, i think its fine now???
