Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Launch Peak(Vulkan).
  2. Foul around.
  3. steam chat from steamoverlay from time to time and move about the virtual windows.
  4. The windows become unresponsive, the overlay not really rendering all elements(the chat window renders, but none of the buttons are responsive).

Also having this issue but in all games, overlay UI becomes unresponsive, chat windows lagging and then disappearing or duplicating, then cannot open them via the main steam client either - only fix is to restart steam.
