Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

On Legion Go S, fwupd has a threshold at 25% battery level that prevents firmware updates if the battery is too low. This is enforced both with or without a charger plugged in.

However, Steam allows you to attempt to install the firmware update when you are below the threshold, leading to your device rebooting after hitting "Install" but without the update being applied. Then, it prompts you to update again if you check for updates.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Drain a Legion Go S below 25% with an available firmware update
  2. Check for updates and install the firmware update
  3. After the device reboots, check for updates again
