Hi All,

This problem I have only occurs when trying to start Serious Sam 3, so far TF2 and World of Goo -which are the only linux clients I have installed- are working flawlessly.

I'm running Fedora 17 x86_64 with the 13.2 beta catalyst drivers

Specs:
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
4 GB RAM
AMD Raden HD 6870 (1 GB)

This is the output when running SS3 from the console:

cat: /etc/debian_version: No such file or directory
INF: GameEnv API: Steam
dlopen failed trying to load:
/home/pabloc/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steamclient.sowith error:
libtier0_s.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; Sys_LoadModule failed to load: /home/pabloc/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steamclient.so
[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; unable to locate a running instance of Steam, or a local steamclient.dll.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

edit: spelling / grammar

For anyone with the same problem, deleting the ShaderCache folder in the SS3 installation directory did the trick:

~/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/Serious Sam 3/Temp/ShaderCache
