Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I cannot create a clip using my 8BitDo Pro 2 controller plugged into my Deck via the official dock. I can however create a clip pressing the same buttons on the Deck's internal controls. It is not easy/comfortable to lean across my desk to do this mid-game to create a clip, so I'd like to be able to use the separate controller already in my hands.
When trying to use the shortcut to create a clip, it seems to do nothing when I press up on the dpad, and when I release the home button it opens the Steam menu as if I only pressed the home button.
I am using the swapped labels layout so that "A" is the south button and so on, but that shouldn't matter for the dpad.
I am able to take screenshots with the 8BitDo Pro 2 just fine and I do it often, so other shortcuts seem to be working.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Enable Game Recording on your Steam Deck
Launch a game, such as Crab Champions
Jump around for a bit, then press your Home/logo button + up on the dpad to create a clip
