Like in the similar issue #12225, there is no way to control neither the vibration intensity for the rumble in the handles of the unit or the impulse triggers from the GUI.
As mentioned in the other issue (#12225), there is a way through the sysfs endpoint for the controller to change the vibration intensity for the main rumble engines (in the handles of the controller), but not for the triggers. This makes the vibration feel incredibly strong and awkward, so I am wondering how one can fix this issue. Is it even possible?
Steps for reproducing this issue:
On Xbox Ally X running SteamOS, go to Settings > Controller > Calibration and Advanced Settings
