Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Download a game that has both Windows and Linux ports.
  2. Try to pick which version to download.

RESULT
You can't pick which version to download.

EXPECTED RESULT
Being able to pick a version, and both versions should have the dates of their most recent update.

Hello @FernandoMMuniz, you can explicitly tell Steam to use a specific variant of a game by going to the game's per-game properties and selecting a compatibility tool.

Steam Library -> select game -> cog icon on right or right click, properties -> Compatibility -> Check Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool.

Steam Linux Runtime is used with Linux native variants of games. Proton is used with the Windows variant of games.

I meant having the option when clicking the big "INSTALL" button, so there's none of those damaging performance test videos using discontinued Linux builds.
