In HL when I adjust the MP3 volume control in the audio settings it has no effect on the volume. This was tested by adjusting in the middle of playback as well as having a low volume set when the game loads.

However, the other volume controls do seem to have the desired effect on volume level, so this bug just affects the MP3 volume.

I am using pulseaudio.

Confirmed on Kubuntu 12.10 x86 with AMD Catalyst 13.1 running on the ASUS X53B. A bit outdated: https://gist.github.com/olavd/4377544. Sound passes through PulseAudio.

Nothing extracted yet.
