Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Sometimes when returning from Big Picture, the Steam window is missing the header and footer, with only the store browser area visible. The missing header and footer is still there and responds to mouse input, but the header is invisible and the footer appears black. I attached a screenshot:

This doesn't happen every time, only sometimes.

My desktop is KDE Plasma 6.5.5 on Wayland

I expected all of the Steam window to be visible. It wasn't.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Enter big picture
  2. Exit big picture
  3. The Steam window is now sometimes partially invisible as described above

Alternate steps:

  1. Start in-home streaming of a game to another device
  2. Stop streaming
  3. Same result as 3 above

I am having exactly the same issue when launching Steam for the first time after OS boot. It happens when Steam launches both windowed and fullscreen, and header appears again if I change window format to fullscreen or windowed respectively most of the times by grabbing "invisible" header.

Hi,

I'm also having the same issue. The header doesn't always load when starting Steam. It happens when Steam auto-loads after the OS boots, but it also happens (sometimes) when I start Steam manually. Resizing the window makes the client render itself properly, and the issue disappears.
