Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I have turned off "Download high quality audio files" in my Steam > Settings > Music.

I expected only standard-quality MP3s (or similar) would be downloaded.

FLACs were also needlessly downloaded.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Go to Steam > Settings > Music.
  2. Disable "Download high quality audio files".
  3. Download a soundtrack that offers high quality audio files (Two Point Campus is one example, but this happens with them all).
  4. Observe a larger download size than expected.
  5. Go into the soundtrack folder.
  6. Observe that FLAC files are present.
