Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I installed the beta version of Fedora 44, installed steam, then installed Project Zomboid, started the game, and when I go into Options, the resolution reads twice the amount of pixels the monitor has (6880w - 2880h instead of 3440w - 1440h).

When I try to start the game, I can't see the some buttons located at the bottom right of the game... the aspect ratio seems to be wrong some how, because if I select a "normal resolution" (FHD), it looks much smaller. I also tried this in Pop OS 24.04, with similar results. The distro that's currently giving me the best experience would be Linux Mint.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Install Steam on Fedora 44
  2. Install Project Zomboid and open game
  3. Go to options, the resolution should be double what the monitor actually is.

Hello @daniero-, issues with Linux native games should be reported directly to the game's dev(s). This doesn't read like a Steam client issue.

If they take a look and find a decent hint pointing this way, then add a comment with their findings and give me a ping.
