My audio card is Striker 7.1. It's a weird sound issue.

To reproduce the bug, you simply need to turn on "play sound on hit" and have a dead ringer spy on the opposing team.

Disguised dead ringer spies don't produce the "ding" sound when you fake-kill them, but they do when you actually kill them. I don't recall this being the behavior Windows version of TF2.

It's a minor issue, though it is, in essence, a cheat...since normally you'd have to monitor your kill count or do something else cumbersome to find dead ringer spies. I'd recommend checking other disguise/dead ringer/fake vs real kill combinations because others also seemed "off" for me during my Linux plays.
