Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I am experiencing a black screen issue when using Steam Remote Play to stream my Kubuntu desktop. I am not trying to run a game; I am simply attempting to view and navigate the desktop environment. The remote client receives a completely black screen instead of the desktop video stream.
To troubleshoot, I have already tried the following:
Toggled "Enable hardware encoding" in the Remote Play / Advanced Host Options settings.
Ensured my graphics drivers and system are fully updated.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Connect to the Kubuntu host machine via Steam Remote Play.
Attempt to view or navigate the host's desktop.
The remote client displays a completely black screen.
