Steps for reproducing this issue:
Run a game in which it's executable or DRM will require a connection.
Observed results:
Steam displays a pop up message saying it needs to be online to work. Which will make the user think Steam requires an internet connection for all games in general.

Steam should inform the user that it's the game or its DRM that it's requiring Steam to be online in the pop up message.
