When launching any game either native or through proton, amdgpu crashes and often ends up locking up the whole session, forcing me to SSH in and reboot. Reverting to stable makes everything work. This only started to happen today for me.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Enable Steam Beta with an AMD graphics card installed
2. Run any game
3. AMDGPU shortly crashes.
