Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Start a game that will require processing Vulkan shaders.

Observed result:
Steam's icon on the Panel doesn't display the progress like copying huge files from a pendrive with KDE Dolphin would.
Having that would allow users with low RAM to safely do other things without the risk of the game booting up with other heavy programs.
