The steam client has an issue in Linux where if you have a dropdown open and fullscreen another application in quick succession, it wont close the dropdown and the dropdown will be displayed, and never closed, on top of the application.
This happens (I think exclusively) in Wayland Linux.
This can happen semi often when opening a second application, it is windowed over the steam client, then attempting to fullscreen the second application, since the mouse movements are all near the same location, it is frequent to accidentally open the dropdown.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
1: Organize your desktop as shown in the picture. Steam client behind an application
2: Open a top dropdown with hover
3: fullscreen second application
