Roll & Yaw axes are defined differently on Steam Controller vs Steam Deck. Roll axis on controller is forward with controller sitting flat on table. Roll axis on deck is in and out of the table when sitting flat on table. This creates an inconsistency in how gyro is translated into movement, depending on how your brain orients each device.
This becomes an issue when deck and controller both use the same configuration for a game/software, which they seem to do for all apps. I like that they CAN share a config because of input parity, but the gyro differences mean I have to switch configurations every time I pick up the controller or deck to orient the gyro the way I want it and makes sense to my brain.
