Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

With steam controller on and connected, open Settings -> Controller -> Show Advanced Settings -> Desktop Layout -> Edit.

Left Trackpad Behavior is shown as "None". Open the selection menu, choose "As Mouse". The Left Trackpad Behavior is still shown as "None".

I am also having the same issue, and it doesnt matter if I choose "as mouse" or "create mode shift", the dropdown defaults immediately back to "none"

I change the settings within the deeper edit menu and they are still not reflected in game.
