The Steam system tray / top-panel process menu lists the five most recently accessed or updated (or I have been told by Google Search AI)
However, clicking Proton Experimental from this menu results in an "Invalid Game Configuration" error.
Please note, I have copied the suggested text from Google Search AI and have edited to the best of my ability to keep this simple.
Also, the AI agent suggested that this issue has not been raised yet.
Steps to Reproduce
Click the Steam tray icon/top-panel process icon on Linux (Ubuntu).
Attempt to click "Proton Experimental" from the "Recent" list.
Expected Behavior
Something, but not an error.
Actual Behavior
The menu displays Proton Experimental, and clicking it triggers an "Invalid Game Configuration" error dialogue box.
