Hello, I think it's more than time for Steam to add the Activate method to its dbus interface. Steam doesn't open with a single click on the icon tray because it lacks this method. it's always necessary to right-click and select an item from the context menu to open Steam on Linux. Several desktop environments like KDE, GNOME, etc., call the Activate method by default to open the program in the background when clicking the tryicon.

I hope you add this method to Steam's dbus; it's necessary for better Steam functionality on Linux desktops.
