When installing games through the Steam Store the controls freeze and stop working when it comes time to select storage destination. No inputs work except for the touch screen. This issue has persisted for years across multiple updates, on both the beta and stable channels.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Go to Steam store and either buy a game or select a free demo or something
Go through the regular steps of installing a new game
When the option to pick a storage destination comes up, inputs stop working
