Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Describe what you expected should happen and what did happen. Please link any large code pastes as a Github Gist

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. OS Arch
  2. shell Fish
  3. Audo Pipewire
  4. Graphics AMD Radeon 740M Graphics
  5. I am using the latest Bootstrap installer package
  6. Steam fails to launch natively. Initially, it hangs completely silent on the second execution line (STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically).

When forcing the installation execution through a clean Bash sub-shell context (bash -c "steam"), the client successfully triggers the bootstrap updater, downloads the required packages, and extracts the runtime environment. However, immediately upon completing the extraction pass and reaching Executing Steam Login..., the process encounters a silent crash, prints Shutdown, and terminates back to the terminal prompt without launching a graphical window environment or printing an explicit core dump error
