I am using a Framework Laptop 16 7040 Edition with a Ryzen 7 7840HS and Radeon 7700S running the latest versions of Debian Trixie and KDE Plasma (Wayland). I have installed Steam via sudo apt install steam-installer -y after adding contrib as a source. After enabling "Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views (requires restart)" in Settings > Interface and rest

arting Steam, it logs in and starts repeatedly opening a window and crashing until I run pkill steam. After enabling GPU acceleration, I can launch Steam just fine by running steam in the terminal but not when launching from the desktop or Application Launcher.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Enable GPU acceleration
  2. Restart Steam
