Your system information

  • Steam client version (build number or date): 1783556394
  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Gentoo Linux
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

RESULTS
No games/software installed locally/natively in Linux (e.g. SuperTux2) are listed. Actually only software which is locally installed over non-steam (vanilla) wine and a few tools like XTerm which are in Steams sandbox.

EXPECTED
All games/software which is installed locally/natively in Linux will get listed, like it already works fine when SteamRT3-Client is not activated.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Enable Experimental SteamRT3-Client
  2. Select Add game
  3. Select add non-steam game

This is a known issue (steamrt/tasks#995 internally). The steamrt3c runtime in the latest beta clients has some infrastructure work that might help to solve this, but Steam Client changes are also likely to be needed.

Nothing extracted yet.
