Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When launching Guild Wars 2 from the Steam client (.deb system package) on a PC system along with using a Steam Controller, you cannot bring up the Steam Keyboard with the Steam + X shortcut.

When the game is launched from Big Picture mode, the keyboard does appear but sends no input when any of the keys is pressed.

The game has been tried in different viewing modes. (Fullscreen, Borderless, etc...)

Additionally it was tried to use a different button for the keyboard by manually setting one of the controller buttons to the Show Keyboard action but that didn't work.

When the game is launched from a Steam Deck device running Bazzite in handheld mode. The keyboard works normally and sends input in the ingame's text menus (such as ingame chat).

Physical keyboard input works without problems.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Connect a Steam Controller to PC on a Linux system
  2. Launch the Guild Wars 2 launcher
  3. Launch Guild Wars 2 from the launcher
  4. Enter the game with your ingame character
  5. With your Steam Controller press Steam + X to bring the onscreen Steam keyboard
