Hello, Steam support team. I don't have any specific problems, but I have an idea for improving the client's user experience on Linux. The problem is that I use the GNOME shell, and as you know, Steam game icons don't display when you launch them. You can see this in the first screenshot.
There's already a solution: just add
StartupWMClass=steam_app_{steam_game_id}
to the .desktop files in the path "~/.local/share/application/"
It will look like the second screenshot.
This will also fix the display in the GNOME bottom panel.
