The entire recommendation category and is not fit for purpose for those in the valve ecosystem

Every option
Discovery queue
Interactive recommendations
New release queue
Community recommendations

Does not allow you to restrict to a platform.
I know theirs a setting in settings to select a platform for recommendations but it’s ignored

I have a deck
I have a steam Os box
I have a phone with steam

On all three I’m recommended games for windows or Mac or unsupported or untested for SteamOs even though my profile is set to SteamOS only

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. forcing steam os recommendations in settings
2. Try to use any recommendation category option no platform filter is present
3. try any, few clicks in you be recommend unsupported games for SteamOS
   3

Fix: allow use to filter by OS in recommendation sections or honour the setting in settings

Also add playable or verified to these recommendation engines

Personally I’d want all non supported games hidden by default unless I opt into seeing those

For me this is a lot of lost money on vavle behalf, as I’m not finding games on steam I’m finding them on third party sites and whilst I’m there it’s far easier to buy it there and add it as non steam game. The experience is sub-par for vavle and needs review
