hi, there is a problem because the beta is now only 120 HZ, the -freq doesnt work anymore

if you play with 100fps /100hz it was best because it was "in sync" .

but now you need 120fps, but there is the problem;
if you go higher than 100 fps the game slows down for you; if you test it with 300 or more fps you see it defenetly

thanks

-freq was a D3D specific command line, and D3D is no longer supported. You should set the fps_max cvar appropriately and make sure you set gl_vsync 0.

i played with opengl ;; if i typed in -freq 75 = 75 hz ;; -freq 100 = 100 hz and so on; but now you cant do that and its only 120 hz

i checked gl_vsync 0 ;; its 0 , i restarted the game ;; its still 120hz;; i can see it when i change to fps_max 120 there is the line where the frames get cut off ; because for example 120fps = 119.99 fps ; etc;

if the game wasnt slowing down if you play with higher fps; it would be ok :-)
thanks again

This bug is not specific to the beta, and has already been posted: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/1218
