On Microsoft Windows I could play TF2 in my native language (italian) without any problem, on Linux I can't because italian isn't present in TF2's language list in properties (there are English, Deutsch, French, Spanish and Russian, but all other languages), everything on TF2 is set in english and not in italian.
Also, I don't know if this is related, but the keyboard layout doesn't correspond between in-game chat and game controls: the chat works well, but controls follow US keyboard layout and not the italian one.
