Steam is incorrectly detecting my VRAM and Microphone information.

For VRAM, I'm getting:

Primary VRAM Not Detected

but the card should have 256 MB of physical memory, see the output of lspci:

$ lspci -v -s 01:00.0
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Robson CE [AMD Radeon HD 6300 Series] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
    Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device 1411
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 49
    Memory at c0000000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
    Memory at d0500000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128K]
    I/O ports at 3000 [size=256]
Expansion ROM at d0540000 [disabled] [size=128K]
    Capabilities: <access denied>
    Kernel driver in use: fglrx_pci

Here's what Catalyst Control Center reports (probably physical + virtual):

For microphone:

Microphone: Not set

But in settings, it is configured correctly to PulseAudio Default and is fully working during test.

Related to #1311. The reporter also did this: http://devgurus.amd.com/thread/160348. Network Speed is neither discovered, and the issues you describe are quite well known to the Steam Linux team.

How long does it take to fix this?

I do observe the same problem for VRAM, Not detected, using Intel iris Xe. Some games (Final fantasy XIII) are not even launching with proton complaining about not enough VRAM.

Nothing extracted yet.
