Hi,
I recently installed Ubuntu 12.10 and Steam Linux version. I played a little Killing Floor on Ubuntu, but performance is very poor comparing to how it works on the same PC but on Windows Vista. Even if I set up lowest graphic there are still plenty of graphic bugs (as wrong texture load eg. street looks like a river of gold :D) and it's lags non-stop. I tried many things eg. change from OpenGL to Direct3D but when I did this, the game crashed at the loading screen and to run KF i had to delete whole folder with conf files.
My specifications:
Ubuntu 12.10 with Unity
2GB RAM
2.2gHz dual core
Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 with 313 drivers installed.
Please help. because it's so annoying i cant play KF anymore!
This bug was closed because the issue concerns individual game performance and not the Steam client. Please contact the video card vendor on their official website with this information.
